GAZOO(KEEPER)

New Hot Hatch. New Dad. New Season.

Ryan Tuerck’s headline-making season is just getting started. (Video below)

To say Ryan Tuerck’s year has already been chocked full of milestones would be an understatement. Not only is Tuerck piloting the critically acclaimed and highly anticipated GR Corolla, but the Papadakis Racing team just made history for earning the new Toyota’s first motorsport win, ever.

Tuerck – who became a new father approximately two weeks prior to the 2022 Formula Drift season opener – has proven that good things come in threes: new platform, new season, and a new family member.

Coming off extensive marketing initiatives and global unveiling just two days prior to his first-round victory, the Toyota GR Corolla sporting Rotiform ZMOs (we guess good things can come in four, also?) exhibited a display of punishing elegance and racing prowess. Tuerck began the first round in the #1 qualifying spot on Friday, and soon reminded audience members and competitors alike as to what a pole position leader looks like.

Tuerck methodically ran his race lines with scalpel-like precision, surpassing drivers like Jeff Jones, Branden Sorensen and longtime friend and rival Chris Forsberg. Tuerck continued his advancement through the FD brackets after a steamroll of Aurimas “Odi” Bakchis in the Final 4. As the age-old adage goes: “winning is winning.” This couldn’t be more accurate after a misstep by teammate Fredric Aasbo took both himself and rival Matt Fields out of final round contention resulting in a 1st place clinch by Tuerck in the Rain-X / Nitto Tire Toyota GR Corolla. RT’s driving and perseverance is a testament to the Rotiform ethos for perfection. Cool, calm, and collected with a dose of calculated artistry. You can call it motorsports, but we call it a public display of grace and performance.
