After a year filled with motorsports domination, Rotiform was back in the swing of show season with the 2022 Euro Tripper event. Not only did this year mark Euro Tripper’s 9^th anniversary, but our first year back into a seemingly “normal” show circuit. The Fort Myers, Florida based euro event has consistently attracted some of the most well-known vendors and attendees from across the southeastern United States and beyond to witness the industry’s most unique and quality builds.

The euro-only event brought a sense of regality with the timeless body lines of multi-generational VW, Audi, BMW, and Porsche specimens adorning the festival lawn. From air-bagged attitude, dedicated high horsepower builds, and 80’s and 90’s swagger, Euro Tripper didn’t disappoint.

However, the most unique and commendable aspect to Euro Tripper is their charity focused philosophy and their penchant for giving back to the local community. Euro Tripper has been working with local charities since day one and continues to include them in their ethos for hosting car shows that break the mold.

Our industry has always thrived on the laidback and social centered culture, and Euro Tripper is the perfect rendezvous for the Teutonic obsessed. Competitions give way to relaxed socializing between enthusiasts, and trophies take a back seat to lifelong connections and a sense of giving back through show’s charities.

In true Euro Tripper fashion, the event weekend kicked off Friday with a BBQ pre-meet, where vendors and show participants had a chance to re-connect after a dismal two years of covid rooted cancellations and postponements that plagued our industry. Following an insect ridden Florida scene setter, Saturday started off hot and humid with the first batch of participants rolling in around 11am to join cars that hard-parked overnight. By noon, the weather broke as clouds rolled in, providing a dark contrast to roughly 400 show cars and a picture-perfect backdrop.
